Shared Ouzoud Falls Day Trip from Marrakech

The shared trip costs 19 EUR per adult and 12 EUR per child, down from a full price of 23 EUR. The rate is the same whether you book alone or as a group, because the minibus is shared. It covers return transport from Marrakech in an air-conditioned minibus, an English-speaking driver, and pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation.

Count on a full day, roughly 10 to 12 hours door to door. Pick-up is from your Marrakech hotel or riad around 8:00 AM and you are back in the city in the evening. The drive is about 3 hours each way, which leaves several hours at the falls. Exact return times depend on traffic and on the group, so we do not pin them to the minute.

No. The driver takes you there and back, but the visit itself is free time. A licensed local guide can be hired at the entrance for about 3 EUR per person if you want the history of the site and the hidden viewpoints. It is optional and paid directly on site.

Small boats run on the pool at the foot of the cascades and take you close enough to feel the spray. It is optional and not included, and costs a few euros paid there. Most travellers who take it say it is the best view of the falls, but the walk down gives you plenty of viewpoints without it.

Yes, swimming is possible in the natural pools at the bottom of the falls, and the water is cool even in summer. There is no lifeguard and the rocks around the pools are slippery, so take care and keep an eye on children. Bring a towel and swimwear if you plan to go in.
