Agafay sits about 30 km southwest of Marrakech, close enough that the drive takes under an hour. It is not a sand desert: it is a lunar country of grey stone hills and dry riverbeds, with the snow line of the High Atlas on the horizon behind it. The order of the afternoon matters. The quad ride comes first, about forty minutes on marked tracks, with a briefing and a helmet before you set off, no licence and no experience needed. Dinner is served in a camp once it is dark: a traditional Moroccan meal with tagine and couscous, followed by live Berber music around the fire. Una experiencia muy recomendable cerca de Marrakech. El paseo en quad, el atardecer en camello y la cena con música bereber hicieron que fuera una tarde muy completa.
Gostei muito da experiência. O quad foi divertido e o jantar marroquino no acampamento foi uma boa forma de terminar a tarde. O ambiente estava muito agradável.
