Please note that Zagora is a flat, rocky desert with very few sand dunes. The scenery is unique but differs from the iconic Sahara dunes found in other regions.
The driving time from Marrakech to Zagora is approximately 7 hours (excluding stops for sightseeing, meals, photos, or breaks).
Bring comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection.
Winter Season: The Zagora desert can get extremely cold at night, especially during the winter months. Be sure to pack warm clothing, including thermal layers
Camel Ride: Enjoy roughly 1-hour camel rides during sunset and sunrise, offering breathtaking views of the desert landscape.
Luggage: You can bring a small backpack for the desert camp while your main luggage is stored safely in the vehicle.

Day 1Marrakech → Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou → Zagora

Early Morning Departure: Your private 2-day desert adventure begins at 7:30 AM from your hotel or riad in Marrakech.

Day 2Zagora → Ouarzazate → Marrakech
